At my company (www.dexterisys.com) we often run ‘Commitment days’. These are days when we agree to support each other in getting things done by all dialing into conference line and updating each other on what we’ve achieved in the last hour and what we want to achieve in the next hour. There’s no intention to solve any problems in these calls, and no judgment on whether the actions are the ‘right’ action or not. Merely making the public commitment seems to be enough to maintain energy and focus to make things happen. I’m going to try this over twitter today. Each hour I’m going to post what I want to do in the next hour and what I want to do in the next hour. This is just an experiment!
